Obituary
Lilly Bisschop passed away peacefully at the Foam Lake Jubilee Home on March 9, 2017 at the age of 101 years. Lilly was born on January 6, 1916 in the Tuffnell District, the daughter of Michael Tabish and Josepha Zepski. Lilly grew up on the family farm and attended Dunrobin School. On November 10, 1940 she was united in marriage to Rene Bisschop. Together they started farming north of Sheho and remained on the farm until 1975 at which time they moved to Foam Lake. In July 2006 Lilly moved into the Foam Lake Jubilee Nursing Home where she remained until the time of her passing. Lilly enjoyed taking care of her house, cooking, sewing and gardening. She enjoyed entertaining when people dropped in for coffee. She loved spending time with and taking care of her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Rene Bisschop; parents Michael Tabish and Josepha Zepski; sisters Mary Ducheminski, Vilda Hrehor, Annie Verhoeven, Lena Shewchuk and her brother Paul Tabish; brothers-in-law Pete Ducheminski, Mike Hrehor, John Verhoeven, John Shewchuk and sister-in-law Nellie Tabish. Lilly leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her life son Wilfred (Elaine) Bisschop of Sheho; grandson Gerald (Darlene) Bisschop, great grandsons Ty and Clay Bisschop of Sheho; granddaughter Sheila (Jason) Watt of Saskatoon; granddaughter Leann (Kevin) Yurkiw, great granddaughters Skylar and Paige Yurkiw of Yorkton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
