Uncle Lou, Several times I sat here looking at your obituary & picture. I wondered what words could I possibly write that would clearly reflect how I feel. During one of these moments, I showed your picture to my husband and he instantly commented on how you had thoughtful eyes. Although, I had seen your eyes several times, I took another look and saw your eyes again. I saw what he was referring to. There is the old proverb the eyes are the window into a persons soul. You touched my life in a way that I didnt realize, until I sat here reminiscing of all of the memories. Many of the memories are simple. I reflect on how common, everyday moments could possibly stand out to me? This is because you were caring and thoughtful and had the ability to turn a simple moment into a memory. Your heart was truly reflected through your eyes. You will be missed. E.L.
