She was born on February 18, 1944 to Harry and Mary (Maksymytz) Panchuk on the family farm. Millie was the fourth born of the Panchuk family. She attended Honey Bank School; she walked to school two and a half miles cross country. Millie met, and fell in love with her high school sweetheart, Jerry Wolitski. They were married in Wishart, on January 25, 1960. Together they lived on the family farm west of Wishart. Millie & Jerry started their family store in 1977, Millie’s Parkland Foods, and also Millie’s Lucky Dollar Store. They were caretakers at the Wishart School for many years. In between Millie’s care taking job she began her seamstress career, which she continued until this past May. Millie’s favourite pastime was Bingo, whether it be radio bingo on the farm with the grandkids, at Muskowekwan with her sister Elizabeth, or Daystar with Jerry. Millie also loved 3-spot; every Tuesday the neighbours would get together at Millie and Jerry’s house and play 3-spot for hours. Even though Millie sewed for a living, she loved sewing for her grandkids; every grandchild received at least one blanket that was made with love from Baba. Millie was an excellent cook and baker, her four deep freezers were always full of some sort of baking, just incase someone stopped by. Millie had a green thumb, her house was full of plants, and there was always a starter slip on the window sill. Her garden always flourished and was never short of potatoes or cabbage. Millie will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by, her husband, Jerry; children, Randy (Donna Szeman); Perry (Joanne Garish)(Lorna Allen); Marianne (Dean Bodnaryk); John (Tracy Latoski); Thomas (Sherry Boulianne); Bobby (Brenda Foster); Dean (Krystal Lowie); grandchildren, Danica, Landon, Cally (Chad), Ciera (Ryan), Brandon (Paige), Justine (Marty), Ben, Demi (Cole), Jesse, Larissa, Anna, Kailee, Lauren (Jeremy), Olivia, Jay, Isla; adopted grandchildren, Brianna, Ally (James), Lorne; great-grandchildren, Fjola, Coby, Chase, Ayvalyn, Lennyn, Harley; brothers, Sylvester (Hilda), Orest (Marg); sister, Patricia Kostiuk; sister-in-laws, Elora Panchuk, Phyllis Lewandoski; numerous nieces and newphews. Millie was predeceased by her parents, Harry (1949), Mary (2004); stepfather, Harry Fedoryshyn; brother-in-law, James; brother, Bill; nephew, Christoper; father-in-law, Martin; mother-in-law, Anna; granddaughter, Megan; sister, Elizabeth; brother-in-law, Edward. Millie truly loved, and was very proud of all her family, and their accomplishments. We thank God for blessing us with her gentle soul, quiet humour, wisdom, and unconditional love. We are so thankful for the gift of our wife, mother, baba, sister, great-baba, auntie, and friend. We love you, and know that you are at peace.
