Maurice (Morris) Oscar Louis Van Den Bossche was born on July 6th 1932 to Mary and Adolph Van Den Bossche. He was born on the family farm near Ceylon, Sk. He passed away in Saskatoon, Sk on April 12th. Morris grew up on the farm in Ceylon, Sk. He attended school in Ceylon,but left at an early age to work on his Uncle's farm. At the age of 20 he started working building and maintaining elevators for P&H, he continued to work for them until 1979. After leaving P&H he worked for the RM of Lakeside in the summer and went away to work on the rigs for the winter. In 1981 in returned to work for P&H in Saskatoon, he retired in 1988. After retirement he continued to work building decks, fences etc. Morris married Lorraine Parr on May 10th 1958. They lived in Quill Lake until moving to Saskatoon in 1981, together they had 4 children, 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Garth (Milyn) Van Den Bossche, Justin (Christine) Maria, Manuela,Charita and Maeve; Darwin (Jo-Anne) Van Den Bossche, Brett; Sharlayne (Rodney) Franko, Tyler and daughter Paige, Lindsey (Craig) and daughter Leighton, Krista (Joel); Eldon (Michelle) Van Den Bossche, Amber (Lyle) and son Jackson, Josh (Sarah) and daughter McKenna, Kaleb (Michelle). Morris was a hard worker and always like to be busy, he took pride in his work. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren and great grand children, a visit from his great grandchildren could always bring a smile to his face. Papa Bossche will be greatly missed. He leaves to mourn his wife and children and their spouses, grandchildren and great grandchildren, brothers Henry (Lena) Andrew (Amelia), Oscar (Maryanne) and sisters, Julie (Joe), Liz (Sandy). And numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Aldolph and Mary Van Den Bossche, sisters Alice, Bertha and brother Douglas. Morris will be sadly missed by all.
