She was born to Ruth and Victor Sokoloski in Wynyard, Saskatchewan on May 8, 1953. She attended Wynyard Composite High School and later studied in Edmonton at Grant MacEwan University specializing in botanical design. Becky lived in Edmonton where all four of her girls were born before moving back to Saskatchewan and settling in Saskatoon. In 1985, Becky started working with the Saskatoon Health Region and over her 28 year career at Royal University Hospital worked in a number of different positions. In June, 2013, Becky was excited to start the next phase of her life in retirement. Becky was always happiest when she was with family, especially her four daughters and five grandchildren. In her spare time, Becky would be found crafting, decorating, spending time in her garden, going on field trips with her grandkids, wandering through garage sales and thrift shops as well as hunting for bargains on and offline. She couldn't get enough of Starbucks and enjoyed going for coffee with friends. She also enjoyed trips to Vancouver and utilizing her timeshare in Arizona. Becky's legacy will be her thoughtfulness, generousity, patience, and quiet manner. Becky will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her children and family: Leigha (Jason); Tara (Kevin), Ella, Olivia; Allison (Jody), Ciara, Arai, Preston; Lindsay (Ashley). Siblings Dawn (Terry); Kim (Judy); Kevin (Lorelie) and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother Ruth and father Victor.
