Obituary
Marilyn was born on April 27, 1951 at Wynyard Union Hospital. At the age of four she was diagnosed with epilepsy. Marilyn started school at Product, then Copeland, and Kandahar. Due to epilepsy and lack of knowledge of the sickness, she left school at an early age and took up residence in Saskatoon. She attended a work experience program at the John Dolan Centre until she was 18. Due to her medical problems, Marilyn was never employed but she did volunteer work at the Senior homes in Saskatoon. In 1988, Marilyn travelled to London, Ontario, where she underwent surgery to alleviate the seizures. The surgery was successful and left her seizure free. Marilyn's religion was very important to her. As well, she enjoyed reading, spool knitting, shopping at the mall, and socializing. Marilyn was a very kind, soft spoken person. She had a good sense of humour and a very sharp mind with history and dates. In the past seven years, Marilyn had a very close relationship with her younger sister, Shirley, and her husband Ed. They were her go-to people when she needed help with anything. Marilyn passed away peacefully on February 1, 2017 at RUH with Shirley and Ed at her side. Marilyn was predeceased by; Father, Harry, mother Anne, and brother-in-law, Henry. She leaves to mourn her sister Darlene, brother, Frank (Marianne) sister, Shirley (Ed), sister Sheila (Terry). Also, nieces and nephews, Randy, Roxy, Colin, Erin, Kerri, Karli, and great niece and nephew, Tia and Tyler.
