Elaine Moore of Wynyard, Sk passed away suddenly on October 5, 2020, at the age of 66. She will be dearly missed by her husband Kim, of 44 years; her son Tyson; grandchildren Zachary, Easton and Avaya; sister Linda Zoerb and her family Joel, Sean and Brianna; mother-in-law and father-in-law Chuck and Marilyn Moore; in-laws Aaron, Dane (Brian), Lise (Kevin) and families; special friend Jean MacKenzie, Cheryl, Oralee, Bev (Stephen) and families; and so many good friends. She is predeceased by her parents Joe and Christina Melnyk, and brother-in-law Darcy Moore. Elaine was born on October 2, 1954, to Joe and Christina Melnyk of Blaine Lake, Saskatchewan. She attended Harmonia and then Blaine Lake School. She was always the teachers favorite as she excelled at all she did. After high school, Elaine attended Saskatoon Business College which led her to a secretarial job at the College of Dentistry. She married Kim in 1976 and were blessed with a son, Tyson, in 1980. They settled in Wynyard and Elaine worked alongside Kim through the years in the restaurant/catering business 32 years at the Shanty Inn. After the sale of their restaurant, Elaine was employed at the Town of Wynyard until her passing. She loved to travel, read, garden, and spend time with family, friends, and especially her grandchildren. She was a very special person who touched the lives of all the people she knew.
