Mary Wolitski was born on Oct. 5, 1915, and passed away June 15, 2014 at Wynyard Golden Acres at the age of 98. Mary was one of eight children born to Katherine (Bohay) and Alex Wasylenka. Brothers: John Wasylenka, Steve Wasylenka, Bill Wasylenka, Andrew Wasylenka, Joe Wasylenka, and Mike Wasylenka and a sister Annie Fedorkiw. Mary attended school up to Grade 6 in Wynyard. She married Mike in 1939 and they moved to Ontario where she was a seamstress. They moved back to Wynyard and farmed in their younger years and then ran the pool hall in Wynyard for a number of years. Mary worked up until she was 90 years of age. She loved to visit with family and friends, bake, read, play bingo and loved a good card game. Mary is predeceased by her husband Mike (1975) and all of her brothers. Mary leaves to mourn her daughter Mary, sister Annie, grandchildren: Darlene (Chuck) Schmidt; Daniel (Carol) Perehuda; Kathy Perehuda and Janice Perehuda; and her great grandchildren: Alana Schmidt, Nolan Schmidt, Tressa Schmidt, Adam Schmidt, Devan Perehuda, Ryan Perehuda, Christin Peesker and Jessica Peesker.
