Obituary
A Private Family Service will be held due to COVID-19 Leo Clarence Gargol was born on September 30, 1944 in Wynyard, Sask to Lawrence and Pauline Gargol and was the youngest out of 17 children. Leo attended Round Hills School while growing up, eventually leaving to work full time on the family farm. He married Theresa in the fall of 1975 and moved to Wynyard to start his own family, but his passion led him back to farming where he later moved his family and lived out the remainder of his years. Leo’s greatest joy was farming and tinkering with his numerous vehicles and toys. He also loved visiting with people and was able to spend even more time doing once he retired from the working years of farm life. Even though he retired from farming, he continued to remain active working part time jobs repairing vehicles and farm equipment. Leo was not an avid traveller but did get to experience the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas. His trip also included seeing the wonders of the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam. He was not afraid of hard work and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. After a lengthy battle with cancer, Leo passed away peacefully at his farm near Wynyard on June 13, 2020 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by his parents, sisters and brothers and leaves to mourn his wife Theresa, his four children: Lorie (Trevor), Alvin (Krystal), Suzanne, Jennifer (Ron), numerous grand children, as well as nieces, nephews and multiple cousins. Leo will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.
