Beloved Brother, Loving Dad, Very Special Grandpa and Uncle. William Young passed away peacefully with family by his side on September 16, 2015, at the age of 63. He was predeceased by his mother, Teresa Marie Young (Sabe kwe), his father, Fred Cheekinew (Nesopin), siblings, George Young, Veronica Young, Ellen Cheekinew, James Young, and the love of his life, Delores Ellen Cote. William leaves to cherish his memory, his children: Rachel (Paul), Sheila (Monte), Angie (Brent) and Vanessa. Grandchildren: Landon Kyle, Grandpa's Islander Girl, Zachary Brian, Paigie Autumn Rayne, Tyrhi Teresa Veronica, Pheonix, Tristan, Mercedes The Lady, and Sterlin; his brothers: Patrick (Marilyn), Mervin and Wayne; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. William will be forever known by many as a kind and generous man, always ready with a smile and a handshake. He loved life and especially the many days spent with family.
