Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2016 St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church Wynyard, Saskatchewan Interment to follow at the St. Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery Donations in memory of Carl may be made to the Wynyard Hospital Auxiliary Carl Anthony Lambert passed away at the Wynyard Hospital on Thursday August 11, 2016. Carl is survived by his his wife Florence, sons Les and grandson Dylan, Kirby (Karla) and grandson Augustus, sisters Sister Marcella, Albina, Adeline, Stella, Angela (Bob), brothers Peter, Rudy (Eilleen), Joe (Millie) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and relatives. Carl is preceded by his parents Walter & Julia, his siblings Bolcha & Walter Lambert, Bertha Yaskowich, Bill Lambert, and his granddaughter Etta Grey Lambert. Carl was born on June 1, 1936 on a farm in the Rushville District. After finishing school he attended the U of S where he obtained his BA & BED. He married Florence Bohun in 1969. They settled in Wynyard where they raised their two sons. Carl was a well respected and competent teacher. After his 25 year teaching career he went on to work in the lab at Big Quill Resources for 15 years. Carl enjoyed sports and won numerous trophies for golfing and curling. In his later years Carl liked to keep busy spending time with his family, watching sports, and gardening. Thank you to all the staff at the Wynyard Hospital for the wonderful care Carl received. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Wynyard Hospital Auxiliary.
