Obituary
Jane Anne Tabin was born October 16, 1920 to Joseph and Anna Pasychny in Bykow, Poland. She came to Canada in 1926 with her mother and brother to meet her father, who had established a homestead near Buchanan, SK. After leaving school, Jane worked as a waitress in Thunder Bay, Ont. On May 24, 1942, she married John Tabin. They had a family of five children, nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Jane worked hard on the farm until 1974, when the farm was sold and they moved into the village of Invermay. She enjoyed babysitting her young grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening and especially liked flowers. In recent years due to health problems, she became a resident at the Invermay Health Centre. Jane was preceased by two infant brother; her parents, Joseph and Anna; husband John and brother Frank. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Roger (Judy) and Ben (Barb); daughters, Marcella, Elaine (John) and Gloria (Grant); brother Martin (Doris) Pasychnyk; sister Rose (Walter) Filipowich; grandchildren, Myles (Zoe) and their family. Bree, Eden, Erik, Kent (Val) and their family Morgan, Bailey, Sydney and Jordan, Kevin (Lindsey) and their family Calla and Jospeh, Deacon, Jeffrey, Kristin (Andrew), Michael (Jenn), Timothae and Kailee. Jane Tabin of Invermay,SK, past away in Invermay on September 19, 2012. Funeral was held on Saturday, September 22 at 10:00 a.m. in the Narfason's Funeral Chapel, Wadena SK, with Rev. George Holiday officiating. Those wishing to make tokens of rememberance my do so to the Invermay Health Center.
