Donatus (Don) Wesley Hearn passed away at Pleasantview Care Home, Wadena, SK on September 10, 2021. Don was born August 29, 1936, the youngest of six children, to Blanche and Edmund Hearn. Don had one brother, Lionel and he was blessed with four sisters: Ione, Lorene, Charlotte, and Ethel. Don moved to Okla with his family in 1939 attending school in Okla and completing his education in Sturgis, SK. Don met his wife, of 56 years, Evelyn while working in Vulcan, AB. They were married on July 10, 1965, and proceeded to have six children in eight years. In 1968 the family moved back to Okla, where Don started farming, worked for the Department Of Highway’s, and drove school bus for the Wadena School Division. Don enjoyed the outdoors; namely walking trails and stock piling wood. He walked many miles covering both his own half section just north of Okla, as well as Keeley Lake Lodge where he and Evelyn worked for a number of years. Don is predeceased by his parents, Blanche and Edmund (1949), brother Lionel (1982), sister Ione (1968) and sister Charlotte (2014). Left to cherish his memory are: his wife Evelyn; his daughters, Maureen (Tim) Currie and children Tyler, Matthew, and Haley; Liana (Kevin) Lange and children Brandy (Neil), Ashley (Sam), and Taylor; Diana (Dallas) Prystay and children Jennifer (Riyaz), Rachelle (Bryson) and Austin; Donna Hearn; Jeanette (Greg) Schendel and children Eric and Dustin; son Keith (Kayley) Hearn. Five great-grandchildren; Clara, Quinn, Jocelyn, Kai and Addison; as well as sisters; Lorene Biccum, Ethel Fisher and numerous nieces and nephews.
