Obituary
Phoenix Dorian Portia Hall was born on April 23, 2002. She came into our lives February 21, 2003 in Melfort, Sask., and moved to Foam Lake when she was 2. She attended both Miss Faye’s and Little Champions playschool. Once Elementary school started, Phoenix participated in numerous activities including ice skating, bowling, swimming, dance, baseball, badminton, soccer and music lessons. In her high school years she devoted her time to band and Girl Guides. Phoenix enjoyed travelling throughout her childhood to various locations with her family, including B.C, Cuba, Mexico and Punta Cana. She loved the water, swimming, playing in the waves and scuba diving with her brother and dad. Phoenix also loved her trips to Edmonton to visit her friend and the West Edmonton Mall. Her love for animals started at a very young age. Throughout her life she had numerous pets including Beethoven, Katie, Georgie, Muffin, Tallie, Squiggy, Love Bug, Piper, Bella, Alice, and Leo. Her favorite animal was the majestic wolf. She was drawn to anything with a wolf on it and collected jewellery, pictures, clothes and personally drawn many pictures of them. Phoenix attended both the Foam Lake and Wadena Composite Schools. She excelled in writing and was interested in science but her favorite subject was band. She was most proud of the Music Award that she received for Most Promising Band Student in 2017. At home Phoenix enjoyed her online time gaming with friends. She had favorite games and various friends and kept in contact with a few of them over the years. In the early years, Minecraft was her favorite. She loved to work on the architecture of her house, building perfectly designed extravagant rooms. Most recently, her favorite games were Skyrim and Shroud of Avatar. She would spend hours searching, planning and building her characters. Around her desk notes and checklists would be found for the things she needed to do to improve her virtual self. When she spent time with her family, she loved sitting around listening to stories, making them laugh with her memes and antics, and just enjoying their time together. Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Clayton & Lisa; step-parents Cassandra & Ben; twin brother Caleb; half brother Wyatt; siblings Joshua, Rayden, Tiera and Aleyna; step-brothers Seth, Reid & Braiden. Paternal grandparents Garth & Gloria Hertz, Francis Hall & Beth Trottier. Maternal grandparents George Thiessen & Marjorie Hansen and Bud & Janet Perry; as well Phoenix leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
