Dorothy Schultz passed away peacefully February 22, 2014 at the Kelvindell Lodge. Dorothy was born March 10, 1918 to John and Gladys Biyak at Hazel Del, Saskatchewan. Dorothy married Otto Schultz on December 9, 1940. The couple spent most of their lives farming in the Kuroki and Wadena area, and later retired to the town of Wadena. Dorothy had a deep faith and love for God. She was a quiet lady, pleasant and kind to everyone. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Otto Schultz; her parents John and Gladys; sisters: Annie, Mary, Belle, Nettie, Margaret and Polly; brothers: Bill and Pete; and son-in-law Roy Shenton. She is survived by her sisters-in-law: Olga Biyak, Irene Schultz and Mary Schultz; brother-in-law John (Irene) Schultz. Dorothy will be greatly missed by her daughters: Lorraine (Allan) Geck of Kelvington, Faye Shenton of Golden, B.C, and Donna (Dale) Sather of Lloydminister, SK; grandchildren: Sheldon (Denise) Geck, Sherri (Rick) Spray of Kelvington, Starla ( Kent) Weigel of Golden, B.C, and Shantele (Kevin) Lindquist of Lloydminister. Great-grandchildren: Tyrel, Rylan, Aliya and Bryson Geck; Kayla and Karson Spray; Troy, Cory and Danielle Weigel; Cody, Hunter and Asher Lindquist; and many nieces and nephews. After her husbands passing Dorothy made her home in the Rose Valley Manor for about four years. After failing health she moved to the Kelvindell Lodge in October 2005, where she spent her days until her passing. The family would like to express their gratitude for the wonderful care given to her at the Lodge.
