Our deepest sympathies to Edith, Brenda, Barbara, Shelley, Robert and families. George was a kind, gentle man. Always had time to chat. Memories of him will be forever cherished.
Our deepest sympathy goes to the entire Okell family. We always enjoyed the Okell visits so much. And George's easy laugh and sparkle in his eyes lit up the room every time. George held a particularly special place in the heart of his step-sister, our mother Margaret. Our memories of George will glow brightly.
Deeply saddened to hear of George's passing. He was a dear family friend, and I'll always remember that smile, those cigars, that laugh. Many fond memories. My condolences to the entire Okell family.
We have been missing both George and Edith in church and now we know they will not return to visit. George was a consistent cheery accompaniment to almost all church activities. As memory troubles became more evident with Edith it was evident that her security was in George and his care of her. He did this so well. He was well known for taking care of many in our community and all he did will be missed. He was not known for waiting to get a job done and this may have led to his sad end. He is home with his Lord waiting for those he loves to join him. God be with you all as you learn to live without him here.
Saddened to hear of George's passing. He was a dear friend to our family and was always good to visit mom when she lived in the lodge. Our condolences to Edith and family .
