Mary Zadorozniak entered into eternal rest on August 24, 2020 at the Yorkton District Nursing Home. Mary was born on May 13, 1933 to Eli and Anastasia Holowaty in the Malby District. Mary was wed to Steve Zadorozniak on July 22, 1950. They moved to Sudbury, ON in 1957 and returned to Foam Lake in 1959, to farm near Foam Lake. They farmed near Foam Lake until retirement in 1978 at which time they moved into Foam Lake. Mary was an active member of St. Mary’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Edmmore, Sk, and of St. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Foam Lake. Mary moved to the Bentley in Yorkton in 2018, where she resided until May 16, 2020, when she moved to St. Paul Lutheran Home, Melville, SK. She then came back to Yorkton District Nursing Home on February 6, 2020. Mary was predeceased by her parents Eli and Anastasia Holowaty; her brothers Bill, Metro, John, Nick, and Steve; sisters-in-law Rosie, Mary, and Myroslawa. Mary leaves to celebrate and rejoice in her memory, her children: son Elmer (Helen) of Toronto, ON and family Robert (Melissa), Michael (Alexandra); son Melvin (Joanne) of Tehkummah, ON and family Jennifer (Luc) of Sudbury, ON, and Tina (Steve) of Sudbury, ON; and daughter Virginia of Yorkton, SK and family Calvin (Melanie), Tammy (Al); son Leonard (Denise) of Oshawa, ON and family Katy and Tim. Great grandchildren Emma, William, and Derick. Brother Mike Holowaty of Foam Lake; sister Katy Bonar of Foam Lake, and Ann McArthur of Moose Jaw, SK; sisters-in-law Lilly of Saskatoon, Sk and Ann of Foam Lake; and all her nieces and nephews to cherish in her memory.
