No service held at this time In the evening of Nov 5, 2020, Raymond Geras of Hendon died peacefully at the age of 77 after a lengthy illness. Ray was born on January 5, 1943 in Hendon, SK., and was the youngest son of Adam and Marianna Geras. He worked on and off the farm in the Wadena area. During his illness he resided in the Wadena Hospital and then the Pleasant View Care Home attached to the hospital. Raymond is preceded by his sister Genowefa (Genevieve), brother Jan (John) and sister Justyna (Justina). He is survived by his two daughters, Katherine (Kathy) and Tammi and three grandchildren, Mykal, Nyah and Josephine and his brother Maksym (Max), sister Wanda (Mary), and his many nieces and nephews The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thank you to the staff at the hospital and care home for their patience and the superb care that he received. At his request, there will not be a funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pleasant View Care Home in Wadena, SK.
