Alex Walchuk passed away on January 3, 2020 at the Theodore Health Centre, Theodore, SK. Alex was born on November 21, 1925 to Samuel and Lena Walchuk. At a very young age, Alex worked with his parents on the family farm until he retired. In 1950, he married Elsie Kucheran. They farmed north of Sheho, SK, on a mixed grain and cattle farm. Throughout the years, he enjoyed hunting and then later hunting with his grandsons. He also enjoyed visiting and playing cards with family and friends. He loved touring his farms throughout his life, observing crops, wildlife and nature in general. Alex was predeceased by his wife Elsie; father Samuel; mother Lena; brothers Pete, Nick John, Mike, Steven, and Frank; and sisters Caroline, Jenny, and Mary. Alex is survived by his sister Anne Bandura; and daughters Violet Bilokreli, Dianne (Lawrence) Pelletier, Sheila Kitzul, and Karen Walchuk. Gido will be sadly missed by all his grandchildren: Cameron and Chantel; Sharlene and Kendra; Blaine, Derrick, and Jocelyn; Justine, Jolene, and Jake. His great grandchildren: Elizabeth, Issac, Sarah, and Abby; Ella, Emerson, and Sarah; Kaydence; Denae and Kaydence; Wyatt, Kenzie, and Reese.
