Obituary
Sadly on January 28, 2019 we lost our Mom. She died peacefully surrounded by the love and support of her family. Left to cherish her memory and to celebrate a life well lived are her children: Carol and Leon Hannotte, Bradley and Adonica Osborne, Scott and Jen Osborne; grandchildren, Jennifer (David), Jill, Regan (Nicole), Cammie, Danika and Carson, and great-grandchildren Willa, Beatrix, Theo and Hudsyn. She will be missed by her sister Elizabeth Kokoski and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mom was born July 2, 1928 in the Horse Lake District to Carrie and Harry Mucha, part of a family of eleven children. She attended Horse Lake School with her brothers and sisters. At a young age she worked for other families, and at the Western Hotel in Foam lake where she met and married her husband Vernon in 1948 (deceased in 1984). Mom was a homemaker, Baba, card player, curler, avid Blue Jays fan, hockey mom, bingo player, staunch defender of her kid’s rights, amazing donut maker and so much more. Her one regret, was not learning to golf, she loved watching Tiger Woods play. Her final years, living with dementia, were spend as a resident of the Jubilee Home, where she worked for many years. We are so grateful for the care she received and for the peace of mind we felt as Mom’s illness progressed. The staff were always professional, loving and compassionate. Following Mom’s wishes there will be no service. The family will gather in the summer to celebrate her life.
