Obituary
It is with dear sadness that we announce the passing of Lydia Maria on September 23, 2021 at Langham Care Home, Langham, Saskatchewan. Lydia Maria was born In Rose Valley, Saskatchewan, at her parents homestead to Redento (Ed) and Lucia Pressacco on July 17, 1925. Lydia spent many hours helping with gardening, chores, sewing, knitting, crocheting, and cooking. Lydia also worked at the Rose Valley Union Hospital, where her dad did the stucco work at the time it was built. Lydia went on to North Bay, Ontario, working at a Pharmacy (medical dispensary) for many years. Later she moved back to Saskatchewan and was employed at Roberts Drugs, which later became Humboldt Medical Dispensary for many years. Lydia worked as a Pharmacy technician until the age of 75; she retired in Rose Valley, Saskatchewan. Lydia had a passion for travelling and enjoyed new and far away places. Lydia was predeceased by: her parents Redento (Ed) and Lucia Pressacco; her brothers, Napaleon and Rudolph,and her sister Louisa Leffler. Left to mourn her passing is: her sister Florentina Boucher, several nieces and nephews as well as many relatives. Graveside Service 11:00 A.M.
