Obituary
Diane Hitchings was born June 20, 1943 and passed away at Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon, Sk, on May 8, 2016 after a brief illness. Diane grew up in Punnichy, Sk and at the age of 17 suffered an illness that left her paralyzed from the waist down. As a result she spent the next 55 years in a wheelchair. Upon her parents' retirement in 1976, the family moved to Abbotsford, BC, so that Diane could get around more easily. She met Morris Greer (also in a wheelchair) and they became a couple. There were constantly on the go, as Morris drove them all around the lower mainland and into the USA. After Morris passed in 2014, Diane move to Riverside Terrace in Saskatoon to be closer to her brothers. Diane was predeceased by her parents Norman and Peggy Hitchings. She leaves to mourn her brothers: Barry (Shelia) and children, Chad (Tricia) and family (Kevin) Kaleigh and Leisha (Dustin), Kevin (Lesa) and daughters Sara and Danielle, Tracy (Bill Peris) and son Michael, and Trevor (Krista Hartman) and sons Sunny and Will; and Terry (Dawn) and daughters Ashley (Scott) Kraley and sons Connor and Lucas, and Courtney (Brad) Schlosser and son Dylan. She will also be missed by many cousins and a host of friends. She will be missed. Memorial donations in memory of Diane may be made to the Kinsmen Telemiracle Foundation or to a charity of ones choice. Service at a later date
