Funeral for Robert will be held on Saturday, May 18th, 2013 1:30 P.M. Jubilee Nursing Home, Foam Lake, Sask Lunch to follow Those wishing to make memories donation's in Robert's name may do so to the Jubilee Nursing home, Foam Lake Sask. Robert Norman Lea passed away peacefully on May 15, 2013 at the Yorkton Regional Health Center at the age of 71. Robert Norman Lea was born on July 27th, 1941 in Foam Lake, SK and was the younger of the two children born to Christina and Norman Lea. Robert married the love of his life, Bette (Scott) on August 25th, 1963 in Foam Lake, SK. They were blessed with three children, Grant, Michelle and Maureen. Robert worked for Crown-Zellerbachat Foam Lake and Indian Head. He later managed the lumber yard at the Imperial and Wynyard locations. Robert left the lumber business and became owner/operator of a redo-mix concrete, sand & gravel, and precast business in Wynyard for a number of years. Later in life, Robert worked at various jobs and business ventures in British Columbia and Alberta. Upon retirement Robert and Bette chose to move back to Saskatchewan; initially to Yorkton and finally returned to Foam Lake. Robert resided for a period of time at the Wondor- Inn and finally, at the Foam Lake Jubilee Home until the time of his passing. Robert enjoyed the outdoors and being in the company of his family, friends, and grandchildren. Robert was predeceased by his parents Norman and Christina. Robert is survived by his wife Bette; Son: Grant (Kathleen) ; Daughters: Michelle (Mike) and Maureen; Grandchildren: Patia, Dayton, Ryan, Riley and Hunter; Sister: Kathleen (Peter); and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
