Dennis Richard Jack was born in Yorkton, Sk. on May 26, 1950 to Minnie and Hugh Jack, the youngest of 4 boys. He started his schooling at Newburn School, and then onto Invermay School. He married Maxine Tomyn on July 3, 1970. Together they made their home in and around the Margo area. They raised a family of four children Carmen, Carla, Hugh and Colette. Dennis especially enjoyed his horses. He would attend horse related events every chance he had, such as Chariot/chuck wagon races, team roping and auction sales. He enjoyed meeting old friends and new friends everywhere he went. From 1966 -1997 he worked on road construction that took him all over Saskatchewan and into parts of Alberta. He could tell you when the highway was built, where any town was, how to get there, and any necessary back roads. Over the years he also would work as a Seasonal Pasture Rider, assisting his cowboy pals around the area when he had the chance. Dennis spent many years working with his brother Billy on the farm, raising cattle and horses. They shared passion for horses and a love of the farm life. Dennis’s love of animals and the outdoors has been passed down to his children and grandchildren. Dennis enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandkids, nieces and nephews. He especially enjoyed teasing the grandkids. Dennis is survived by his wife Maxine, children: Carmen (Dwayne), Carla (Warren), Hugh (Tasha), and Colette (Jason).
