Obituary
Funeral Prayers for the late Victoria Sebulsky was held on Wednesday, January 23 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sheho Ukrainian Catholic Church. Divine Liturgy was held on Thursday, January 24th at 10:00 a.m. at the Sheho Ukrainian Catholic Church. Internement to follow in the Sheho Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Victoria's memory to the Sheho Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery Fund or the Saskatchewan Heart and Stroke Foundation. Victoria Sebulsky was born on October 1, 1927 at Foam Lake, Saskatchewan, the youngestschool at Athlone and Hazel School. She worked at a restaurant in Foam Lake for a few years. Victoria met the love of her life, Peter Sebulsky, at a dance at West Bend and they were married on May 15, 1948. They lived on the family farm four and a half miles south of Sheho, and had a mixed farming operation. They were blessed with three sons and one daughter. Victoria was an avid church member and was a member of the Sheho Christ the King Catholic Ladies Aide. She loved gardening and enjoyed her flowers. She loved watching curling and especially enjoyed having her grandchildren come for visits. She is survived by her children:?Ronnie of Sheho, Randy (Dorothy) of Regina, Bernie (Faye) of Sheho, Beverly (John)?of Saskatoon; grandchildren:?Colin (Chelsea) of Toronto, Tyler (Heather) of Regina, Amy (Ryan) of Yorkton, Kyle of Regina and Chad of Sheho. She is also survived by three great grandchildren, Gracie and Kallie Monych of Yorkton and Ryder Sebulsky of Regina; sister-in-law Dorothy Sebulsky and godchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Peter (1978); her parents George and Annie Korpatnisky; sister Ann Korpatnisky; sister Rose Spott; brother-in-law Mike Spott; brother Wasyl Korpatnisky and sister-in-law Mary Korpatnisky ; nephew Irvin Korpatnisky; also in infancy sisters Maria, Katrina, Natalina and brother Nick. Mom found great joy in her family and the simple things in life; she always gave of her time to help others and she will be dearly missed.
