A celebration of life for the late Havvrone Rhodri was held on Saturday September 22 at 2:00 p.m. in the Narfason's Funeral Chapel, Wadena SK. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Society. As to Havvrone's wishes, please dress in comfortable, bright attire. Havvrone Rhodri left this earthly plane on September 14, 2012. She leaves behind to continue her legacy of love and peace her soul-mate Lorne, daughters Caryl, Arrayl (Aaron, Jevan, Samantha), and son Bryn (Payton). She was predeceased by her daughter Tanyth, sons Kerys and Kieran, grandson Dorian and brother Tudvil. Havvrone was a woman of strong convictions. She always supported human rights in a myriad of ways and did not discriminate on any level. A teacher for many years she glowed when meeting an old student. They invaribly told her she was their favorite teacher. They were her pride and joy, as were her borne children and grandchildren. A poet who was awarded 1st place by the International Society of Poets in 2002, she spent many hours composing the poems which stirred others souls. Havvrone embraced many cultures and was always interested to learn more of them and also people's religious beliefs, having studied theology extensively throughout her life. A Taoist/Wiccan by self definition, she always walked her own road and encouraged others to do the same. Strongly believing in the power of hugs,she embraced the world one person at a time. She never turned anyone away and even aided in self-proclaimed enemies from time to time. Sometimes misunderstood, she bravely stood for what she believed even though at times people's reactions hurt her deeply.
