Funeral Service 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 25, 2017 Immaculate Conception Parish Quinton, Saskatchewan Ken passed away peacefully at the age of 57 at the Regina General Hospital on November 20, 2017. Ken was born on February 12, 1960 in Lestock to Joseph and Agnes Sich. He was raised on the family farm south of Punnichy. He was the second oldest of five children. Ken continued to farm and work for the RM of Touchwood until his passing. Ken is survived by his children: daughter, Janelle (Derek), granddaughters, Mackenzie and London; son, Shane; daughter, Maddison. Along with his mother, Agnes and three sisters; Angie (Bill), Anita, Rita (Nick) as well as numerous niece and nephews including Godson, Ryan Wild. Ken is predeceased by his father, Joseph, his brother, Keith, and brother-in-law, Mark. Ken lived and breathed the family farm. His son, Shane, later joined him to continue to carry on the family farm and he was happy to share the same passion with Shane. Ken enjoyed getting together with his Aunts and Uncles for family suppers, to play cards and to discuss farming. Ken shared his love of cattle with his two granddaughters, who loved their visits to the farm. Ken had a passion for showing cattle from a young age through 4-H and continuing into Agribition. After Ken retired from showing cattle, he still continued to share his love for Agribition with his children and two granddaughters. He also enjoyed spending many hours in his shop doing woodworking. Ken made both of his daughters, Janelle and Maddison, elaborate dollhouses that they cherish. Ken’s family would like to say thank you to the Regina General Hospital Staff and to the ambulance attendants.
