Harold Richard Garn passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 17, 2017 at Regina General Hospital, Regina, SK. He was born to Edmond and Martha Garn in the Wapella District on January 8, 1945. He grew up on the farm in the Wapella District, and attended Wapella School. On September 2, 1972 he married the love of his life, Sylvia Semenuik. Two children were born to them Sheila and Christy. Harold enjoyed ice fishing, curling, carpentry, going to coffee row, watching the Roughriders, and being with his family. Harold’s biggest passion was working for the RM of Foam Lake, and driving the grader. He also loved tilling the garden, building bird houses for everyone, giving his grandchildren money, or taking them out for ice cream or french fries and being Sylvia’s shadow. Harold will be missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 45 years, Sylvia; daughters Sheila and Christy; grandchildren Amanda, Kristen, Shayla, Mackenzie and Nicole; great grandchildren Douglas and Lukas; four brothers; seven sisters and their spouses' sister-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Edmond and Martha Garn. Harold will be sadly missed and never forgotten by all his family and friends.
