Micheal Hudyma was born to Wasyl and Rose Hudyma on November 18, 1922, south-west of Sheho in the Rivington district where he received his public school education. After graduation from Sheho High School, he took up accounting at the Success Business College in Regina. Due to a bout with rheumatic fever, his health was affected making him unfit for military service and left him in a weakened condition for years. He left for Toronto and worked in the office of Employment and Immigration for the Federal Government for forty one years and retired in 1988. On retirement he came back to Foam Lake to be closer to the rest of the family. He was quite talented in woodworking and painting and crafts but gave all his gems away. He was a quiet and gentle man and will be missed. Mike will be greatly missed by his sisters Verna Harris and Mildred Wilson and brother Walter Hudyma and his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Rose and father Wasyl; brother Oliver; brothers-in-law Charlie Harris and Wilf Wilson and sisters-in-law Pat Hudyma and Bella Hudyma.
