Funeral Service Saturday,February 21, 2015 2:00 p.m. St. Margaret's Anglican Church Wynyard, Saskatchewan Internment: Pleasantview Cemetery Wynyard, Saskatchewan Jonina Gudrun Bolt passed away peacefully on January 17, 2015 just a few weeks short of her 100th birthday. Jonina was born in Kandahar, Sask on February 21, 1915 to Jon and Gudrun Gudnason. She attended Kandahar school where she excelled in Art, Latin and Basketball. She also loved music, especially piano and dancing. On November 27 , 1935 she married Fred Bolt and they enjoyed 63 years together until his passing in 1998. Jonina and Fred lived in Dafoe for 35 years and moved to Raymore in 1970. Jonina spent the last 16 years of her life living in Wynyard. She has always been active in the Anglican Church ACW as well as the Golden Acres Auxiliary. Jonina was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and a warm and loving woman. Her favorite times were those spent with family and friends. Jonina enjoyed going for coffee with friends when she lived in Raymore. After she moved to Wynyard she would often be seen at the bakery having coffee with her friends. Jonina was predeceased by her parents Jon and Gudrun, her husband Fred. Brother Kjartan Gudnason, her sister Emily Sveinbjornson, son Terence. Grandaughters Melissa Bolt, Pamela Zedde and grandson Kurtis Anderson. Brother in laws Ted Sveinbjornson, Eric Bolt, Jack Bolt and sister-in-law Elsie Bolt. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her daughters Elaine(Andy) Anderson, Tsawwassen, BC, Beverly (Ron) Magnusson, Wynyard, Sask, Barbara Semke, Tsawwassen, BC, son Lorne (Beverley) Bolt, Raymore, Sask, daughter-in-law Lana Bolt, Wynyard, Sask. Grandchildren Don (Laura) Zedde, Scott Magnusson, Cheryl (Rod) Sveinbjornson, Fred Magnusson, Todd (Cathy) Magnusson, Kristin Anderson, Katherine (Graham) Walker, Jonna (Eric) Semke-Butz, Shae (Mike) Suveges, Troy (Tara) Bolt, Heike (Darwin) Sobkow, Tara (Gary) Thorsteinson and Wendy(Albert) Boylak. Jonina is also survived by 33 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
