To My Friend Dorlynn and family: Rudy was a solid, honest, salt of the earth kind of guy. He taught and instilled these traits into all of us and we were fortunate to be his friend. Whether it was his laugh or smile, he always made you feel welcome in his home, even when I had to move all the dining room and living room furniture to the side to conduct drummer and full band interviews and jam sessions while being a guest in his house. He never bragged about anything until he became a father to Jonathan and JJ stole the spotlight. They developed an unbreakable bond than Im sure Jonathan will pass on to future generations. Unfortunately, we cannot be there because Alis bridal shower is on the same day and same time. Ali and I will take a moment tomorrow to reflect on Rudy at 2:00. We thank you Rudy and Dorlynn (Alis godparents) for making it possible for us to become parents to Ali. Our hearts and prayers are with you and your family.
