Uncle Merv, you were always bigger than life. Your voice, your laugh and your sense of humour were as big as your heart! As a kid I thought you were such a fun uncle to be around - I always knew you would have a big smile. I still remember the Boston Bruins hockey jersey you gave me for Christmas. As a man I enjoyed that edgy sense of humour and I respected that your smile never went away...you could be counted on for a drink, a story and a good visit. I will miss you and I pray for Aunty Dayle and the girls...a big piece of their life is gone but not forgotten. Say Hi to Mom for me!!!

I'm deeply sorry for your loss. I only had the pleasure of meeting Merv a few times but after meeting him once, it's like I knew him my whole life.
