Obituary Hertha was born to Anna and Gustav Molkenthin in Humboldt, Saskatchewan and raised on a farm near Middle Lake. She left home at an early age working in Clavet and Saskatoon for several years. On June 23, 1946 Hertha married Ben Tweidt. Starting their life together they moved to their farm east of Hendon, where they lived for close to 60 years before moving to Wadena in 2005. In addition to a farm life and raising a family alongside Ben, Hertha found time to contribute to the community. She was actively involved in Scandia Lutheran Church and various organizations. In later years, she thoroughly enjoyed working at the Hendon Co-op store. Hertha's favourite pastimes were camping, fishing, curling, bowling and the Seniors Exercise Group. Her hobbies included sewing, quilting, knitting, needlepoint and reading. She and Ben enjoyed travelling, visiting a number of countries where they made memories through varied and sometimes exotic experiences Hertha's family appreciated and loved her especially for her smile, caring manners and joy of life. She in turn thought the world of them. Hertha was predeceased by her parents Anna and Gustav Molenthin, husband Ben, granddaughter Ashley Dawn Cassidy-Tweidt, sisters, Dora Lechler and Erna Fischer. Lovingly remembered by her family: DONNA (Robert) McEwen, Greg and Tricia McEwen, Kristen and Jordan; Landis (Aaron); LOWELL (Pam) Tweidt and Stefan; KATHLYN Mercier, Ryan (Sarah) and Kim (Sean); sisters Esther (Murray) Hall; Lucille Kerr, Alice Kirsch and brother-in-law Don Tweidt and extended families. MissMe-But Let Me Go! When I come to the end of the road And the sun has set for me I want no rites in a gloom-filled room. Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little-but not too long And not with your head bowed low. Remember the love that we once shared, Miss me-but let me go. For this is a journey that we all must take And each must go alone. It's all a part of the Master's plan, A step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick of heart Go to the friends we know And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds. Miss Me-But Let me Go!
