Richard Rick McClymont was born to Dave and Deanne McClymont on May 31, 1956, at the Wadena Hospital. He grew up in Wadena with his brother Neil and two sisters, Debby and Dawn. As a boy Rick enjoyed looking after his little brother Neil and going places with Amma. Rick attended school in Wadena, Foam Lake and Yorkton and later went on to work with his father in the construction business. He met Colleen in 1980 at the indoor rodeo in Wadena. They were married on June 30, 1981 and were later blessed with two beautiful children: Robert Allen in 1983 and Jennifer Nicole in 1986. When Rick was not superglueing stuff together, he loved to fish, design and work with jewelry and spend time with his grandchildren. Rick was predeceased by his father David; grandparents, John and Dorothy McClymont and Seena (Amma ) MacKay; brother David Neil McClymont; father-in-law Leroy Bell; niece Carla Maximuck; nephew Nathan Springinatic and grandparents-in-law, Albert Bell and Sam Seidlikosky. Left to celebrate his life and cherish his memory are his wife Colleen; son Robert (Kim) McClymont of Regina; daughter Jennifer McClymont (Colin Labanowich) of Kylemore; four grandchildren: Dakota (Age 5), Crystal (4), Braden (2), and Chantel (1); mother Deanne McClymont of Wadena; sisters, Debby (Bill) Springinatic of Foam Lake and Dawn (Sal) Barbieri of Ajax, ONT.; mother-in-law Angeline Bell of Wadena; sister-in-law Marguerite Bell of Yorkton; nieces, Trezlie (Derek) Karakochuk of Wynyard and Lisa Barbieri of Ajax; nephew Cole Barbieri of Ajax; as well as numerous cousins and other relatives. Rick will be deeply and sadly missed by everyone who knew him. He will remain in our hearts.
