Adolf was born on Nov.11, 1928, on the family farm, to William and Mary Karakochuk. He passed away peacefully on Feb 18, 2016, with his loving family by his side. Adolf took all his schooling at Halicz School. He worked for the town of Wynyard, installing the first waterlines. Adolf met Margaret Kachur in school and rode his horse 1 1/2 miles to visit her. Adolf married Margaret on July 19, 1953 at Krasne Church. In 1955, they moved to the farm, and he took over the farming duties from his father. In 1972, Adolf and Margaret and their family moved into Wynyard, where he was employed at Crawford Foods/Sunnyland and continued farming as well. Adolf taught and guided his three sons to farm, so that they could pursue his love for farming and take over the family farm upon his retirement. Adolf and Margaret had four children: one daughter Judy (Mac Stadnyk), and three sons; Melvyn (Rita), Dennis (Joy Perry), Wayne (Carla). He was very proud of his 6 grandsons; Blair (Nikki) Karakochuk, Derek (Trezlie) Karakochuk and Raul Duca (Cayla), Jordan, Logan and Jackson Karakochuk. He totally adored his four great-grandchildren; Summer, Draecen, Huxley and Berkley Karakochuk. In his younger years, Adolf enjoyed riding horses, visiting with friends and playing cards, especially three spot. He also enjoyed going to barn dances, playing horse shoes and fooling around with his siblings. Adolf was predeceased by his parents William and Mary, sister Annie Lasuita, brother in law Mike Lasuita, father in law John Kachur, mother in law Annie Kachur, brothers in-law Raymond Kachur, Ed Kachur, Mike Kachur and Sly Kachur, sisters in law Eleanor Kachur and Sally Kachur and nephew Daryl Kachur. Adolf is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Margaret; his four children, Judy, Melvyn, Dennis and Wayne and their spouses; his grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; brothers; Rudy (Stephanie), Andy; brothers in law, Bill Kachur, Ronnie (Cynthia) Kachur and Lorne (Sharon) Kachur; sisters in law, Mary (Mervin) Musney, Sylvia (Peter) Danchak, Angela (Orest)Senkowski, Gloria (Terry) Dubiel, Fran Kachur and Gladys Kachur, and many nieces and nephews, as well as numerous extended family.
