Raymond Joseph Slippery was born on May 1, 1953 in Fishing Lake First Nations, and passed away on February 1, 2019 at Porteous Lodge, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He lived for his grandchildren, and always visited them everyday. He loved going to Bingo at City Centre Bingo. He would go for walks everywhere in the city everyday. He loved going to powwows whenever he could. His hobbies were watching hockey, cooking shows, and watching old action movies. He was known for his humor and speaking straight forward. He was loved very much and was respected. Raymond is survived by his children: daughters, Crystal Nataucappo (Brad Whitebird), Stacy Nataucappo (Aaron Potskin), and Katlynn Nataucappo; sons, Kevin Nataucappo, and Kyle Nataucappo; grandchildren, Colin, LaKeysha, Calysa, Candace, William, Keanu, Ariana, Micheal, Juliet, Marcus, Bruce, Kamillia, Kameiko, Jason, and Kennedy; siblings: brothers, Willard Young and Kenny Slippery; sisters, Yvonne Slippery and Marjorie Wolfe; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Phillip and Clara Slippery; son Colin Nataucappo (in infancy); grandson Tyson Nataucappo; sisters Gertrude Bartram, Mary Slippery and Audrey Slippery; brother Douglas Slippery: and twin brothers Eric & Alvin Slippery.
