Patricia Krygowski passed away suddenly on May 13, 2018 at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon from a stroke. Patricia was born on March 10, 1945 at Rose Valley, Saskatchewan to Pete and Olga Kizlyk. She was the second eldest child of thirteen. Patricia grew up on the Kizlyk family farm west of Fosston and attended school in Fosston. She loved to run and was in many of the school track races. On December 29, 1960 she married Walter Krygowski. To their union five children were born, Ken 1961 (deceased same year), David born in 1962 of Edmonton, AB., Katherine born in 1964 of Lloydminster, AB., Richard born in 1965 of Lloydminster, SK., and Cindy born in 1974 of Lloydminster, SK. Patricia and Walter have resided on the farm near Hendon for the last 58 years. Patricia started to show signs of multiple sclerosis when she was in her early 20’s, but she did not let that stop her from doing everything she loved. She took pride in raising her children, having huge gardens, raising small farm animals, and helping Walter with the land. Patricia loved farming and for many years could often be seen running a tractor. She was very proud of the crops her land would grow and had a huge stake in the future farming plans for each season. In her later years, as the multiple sclerosis progressed, Patricia had to stop helping on the farm and doing some of her everyday tasks; this saddened her greatly as she never wanted to retire from the farm. However, determined as she was, she still maintained a say in all farming matters and how she wanted to live her daily life. Mobility was an issue, but Patricia devoted her time to now visiting her children and grandchildren when she could or through daily phone calls. Patricia was predeceased by her son Ken, parents Pete and Olga, sisters Katie and Elizabeth, brothers Peter and Joe, brother-in-laws John Lukaszuk and Julian Nizinkevich, sister-in-law Terrye Kizlyk. Patricia is survived by her husband Walter, her four children: David Krygowski, Katherine Collinge, Richard (Donna) Krygowski, and Cindy (Jim) Holowachuk; her one granddaughter Destiny Holowachuk and her three grandsons, Lee Collinge, Micheal Holowachuk, and Brandon Krygowski,; her brothers: Michael Kizlyk, Mervin Kizlyk, and Steven (Sue) Kizlyk,; her sisters Darlene Nizinkevich, Elsie (Glen) Mason, Rose (John) Munn, Nickolena Kizlyk, and Diane (Stan) Wagner; and her sister-in-law Kim Kizlyk.
