Obituary
George Keith Graham was born on October 1, 1921, on the farm by Quill Lake, Saskatchewan. Keith went to school at Bradburn School across the road from the homestead and in 1944 he enlisted in the Royal Canadian Navy. He spent 4 years during World War II as a Boilerman on the HMCS Sackville. In 1949, Keith married Winnifred Nesbitt. They lived on the family homestead just a few miles from Quill Lake. Keith and Winnie were married for 60 years and had two children, Barbara and Reid. Keith and Winnifred farmed for many years until they moved to the town of Quill Lake in 1982. Keith was a pillar in the community of Quill Lake and proudly volunteered as a Legion member for 49 years. Keith enjoyed fishing and hunting but was most passionate about farming and the Community of Quill Lake. Keith was predeceased by his parents and his wife in 2009 and his siblings, Cleve Graham, Elda Cameron, Norma Haggard and Murray Graham. Keith leaves to mourn his passing: his children, Barbara (Hank) Detkavich and Reid (Teana) Graham; his grandchildren, Dion (Meranda) and Bree (John) Detkavich and Jace Graham, his great grandchildren, Majer Annable, Zoya Annable, Averi Hoffman and Siobhan Detkavich, his sister, Maida Maes as well as several nieces and nephews, numerous extended family, as well as many, many friends.
