Graveside Service: 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2016 Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery Wishart District, SK On June 12, 2016 Albin passed away peacefully, beautifully and with no regrets at the age of 71. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Lorlie (Craig) Hamstra, Sheldon (Katie), Shane (Leigh); grandchildren, Rylan, Vaughn, Kaden, Connor and Nolan; brothers, Mervin (Sonja), Fred, Stan (Karen), Gary (Wendy), Brian and Dale; sisters, Elizabeth Bencze, Lee Cossette, Diane (John) Antochow, Claudia (Gary) Lemke and Donna (Harvey) Hauck; sister-in-law Pat; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Albin was predeceased by his parents Mike and Myrtle; brothers, Andy and David; sisters-in-law Joanne and Angela; brothers-in-law Ed and Dick. The family would like to say thank you to the amazing, dedicated and compassionate staff at the University of Alberta ICU unit 3C4 where Albin spent his last few days of life. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Basilica, 10044 – 113 Street, Edmonton with visitation beginning one hour prior. Interment will follow in Wishart, SK on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery.
