Funeral Service Friday, February 5, 2016 1:00 p.m. Wadena Community Hall Wadena, Saskatchewan Interment following lunch at the Kuroki Cemetery, Kuroki, Saskatchewan. Donation in memory of Bill may be made to Stars, or the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Bill Rudishyn passed away peacefully with family by his side on January 27th at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Hazel (nee Novak) of 56 years; son, Ken (Janet) of Cowley, AB and their children Randy, Bob, Michael, Meryia, Josh; daughters, Karen (Gerry) Brion of Surrey, BC; Janice (Bill) Reddekopp of Saskatoon; and Kathy (Harold) Sheck and their son, Novak, of Vancouver, BC. He is also survived by his sister, Anne (Marion) Tylipski, and nephew, Ron and niece, Cheryl and their families; sister, Lynne Van Tassel and niece Lori and family; brother-in-law, Roy Novak and niece, Noreen and nephew Orrin and their families; as well as numerous nieces and nephews in law and extended family. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Makar (Mike) and Katherine Rudishyn; son, William (in infancy); daughter-in-law, Judy Rudishyn; grand-daughter, Jayla Mason; brother-in-law, Norman Van Tassel; sister-in-law Eleanor Novak. As a young man, Bill always felt his place in this world was to continue his parent's dream of a better life after their journey from Ukraine. He fulfilled the blessing that God and his parents had bestowed upon him by lovingly working the land throughout his life. Bill was a quiet, patient and gentle man who loved his family deeply and cared about the welfare of his surrounding neighbours. He will be greatly missed.
