Beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather Kirk Brady passed away on May 16, 2021 at the age of 92. Kirk was born in Codette, SK and raised on a farm near Aylsham SK. He spent his early years working in Massey Ferguson dealerships in North Battleford and Kindersley and moved to Saskatoon in 1958 where he worked as the parts manager for Central Supply until his retirement in 1992. Dad formed great and lasting friendships with his customers and co-workers and spent many happy times with them hunting and fishing. Dad was an avid fisherman and loved to be in the boat on Candle Lake with his fishing buddies Elmer and Keith and later Keith’s son and grandson Michael and Ben. Mom and Dad were lucky to have kind and supportive neighbours to whom we are very grateful for the company and friendship they provided for so many years, especially Peggy and Elmer. Kirk will be lovingly remembered by his 5 children: Cheryl (Jim) Flynn of Beechy, SK; Kathryn Carriere of Saskatoon; Greg Brady of Duncan, BC; Maureen Brady of Chemainus, BC; and Allyson Brady (Troy Mamer) of Saskatoon. Kirk was a proud grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife of 63 years Violet Brady, and his 4 siblings, Myrna, Ruth, Jack, and Ann Marie. Memorial donations may be made to the Saskatchewan Environmental Society or a charity of your choice. A graveside service for friends and family of Kirk Brady will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Saskatoon on June 4 at 1:00 p.m.
