Sad to hear of Shelley's passing. Shelley was an acquaintance of mine for 30+ years. I love the background photo. I have stood on that deck! Dearest Shelley, wherever you are, I will always remember you. You were a lover of Nature and Science, my favorite subjects! From Anita, with love.

Hi Sherry,
Chuck and I just heard of Shelley’s passing and are so saddened at the news.
We have so many fabulous memories of Shelley. Cross-country skiing, early morning walks and Sunday suppers.
Then there are the Kaiser games. Oh my but Shelley hated to lose. At one point she became absolutely positive the guys were cheating so created signals for us to use, and we still lost! LOL She was not a happy camper.
One of the few invited guests to our wedding, Shelley gave us the gift of memorializing our special day with her photography and providing us with a permanent memory of herself in the process.
Shelley always remained close in our hearts and we are sad that we lost touch after leaving North Battleford.
We hope our memories provide some comfort at a time when I’m sure it is difficult to find any.
Chuck and Lyn

I have never met Shelley, but I know her sister Faye who has shared her story and struggles of Shelley's illness with me over the last 3 years. Faye spoke of how strong and beautiful Shelley was and how she was willing to 'have the full meal deal' with any available treatment to overcome her illness. Faye spoke of Shelley's compassion and her love for her twin sister Sherry who I have not met. I hoped for Shelley's recovery and I was sad to hear that her struggles were over after a long journey to find her good health again. I am so sorry and sad for Shelley's sisters and brothers and in particular my friend Faye who had wanted so dearly for her sister to get better. Biggest hugs xoxo

It is so hard to say goodbye to Shelley, who meant so much to all of us. She was a wonderful sister-in-law and an incredible Aunt. Above all, as so many people have written, Shelley was a dear. She was easy to love. She was kind and hardworking and generous. But she was also witty and wise. And she was fun. Life around Shelley had more zest. She could turn four people in a kitchen into a party (with the table, chairs, candles, balloons and other supplies coming straight from her vehicle – Shelley was always ready for anything.) Shelley met the world with a smile and an open heart, and everyone she met was better for it. To Violet, Sherry, Sid, Faye, Gaye, Randy, her nieces and nephews, and all who loved Shelley: I am so sorry for this terrible loss. I am lucky to have known her. She was a gift in all of our lives. I will miss you dear Shelley. But you will always be in my heart.

My deepest sympathy to the Robinson families,as you grieve the loss of Shelley. I had the good fortune and honour of sharing an office, and later a corner cubicle with Shelley for 22+years. Shelley always had a smile,a twinkle in her eye,and found the humour in most everything. Her cool, calm, and patient nature was admired by many. I will cherish my many memories of Shelley, and I miss her so.

How does one say a true goodbye to someone that will occupy a spot in their heart and memories, which will surface from time to time?
Shelley, you will occupy that one spot in our hearts, and you will live on through us,so it's not goodbye, rather it's all aboard.
This does not mean we will not release you on your journey,as we must, but our cherished memories will sustain us at the boarding station as we see you off on yet another trip to see other loved ones ,who eagerly await your arrival.
I have had the honour of being with your twin ,Sherry in these last 41 short years.I have seen love to the fullest ,honour ,and commitment between you and the rest of the family.
more specifically,I've witnessed unconditional love between you and Sherry. As a care giver, you exemplified the same excellence .
You always made time to see your friends and family ,and you brought joy to them upon your arrival. You left indelible memories that each one will cherish.
I will say, rest easy, and I will play "Stand by Me " by Tracy Chapman as I recall my many memories of you.
The other sister in laws will smile ,when I say " you are my favourite sister in law,on a long journey..." Ehkoshi pittamah,mino-pehmootehwoh,keyshahkeetin .( that is all for now, have a good journey,I love you)

Our thoughts, prayers and support go out to each of you during this difficult time. I have known Shelley for a long time and have many memories of excursions with her be it walking, biking, skiing, camping or canoeing either at the lake or in North Battleford. She was a gracious hostess and always delightful to be around. She truly was the most patient, calm and kind person I have ever met. She did love her music and her playlist was never very far away. Willy was her pride and joy. He was quite the fella! Many memories of him as well. Rest in peace dear friend.

Condolences to the Robinson family. I first met Shelley 13 years ago when she vaccinated our twin babies and we would chat about her mom talking about her and her sister's special twin languages! Later I worked with Shelley at times, when she organized the young parent prenatal groups through our common clients at KidsFirst. I always enjoyed her enthusiasm, professionalism and friendliness and am shocked and saddened by her passing. Wishing you all the best in your memories of her.

Shelley brought a light to the team she worked with and such warm support to the families she helped through work. She was patient, kind and unwavering. She had a quiet innovation and creativity that I really learned from early in my career. I don’t think I ever saw her speak when she wasn’t also smiling.
I will miss her radiant heart.

I did not see Shelley near enough over the past several years but at any family reunions or events that occurred, I always remember her as having a great laugh and a quick smile. She was a light in any room she entered. She will be missed by me and all the Prouse family however there are now a few other departed family members happy to see her join them in that special place, not the least of which is Ray.

I am so sorry that Shelley is gone. She was a coworker of mine for over 30 years. We’d often be at work late together discussing the days happenings. She developed the teen and young parent prenatal program and was such a wonderful support to new moms. I have had several coworkers tell me how she was such a valuable mentor to them as a student nurse or as a new public health nurse. Shelley always had a smile. She loved her family dearly and always talked about you that I feel I know all of you. She was my family’s best customer for the Cubbon chickens and Turkeys when we were raising them. Shelley was always agreeable to anything - it just seemed impossible to upset her. Sherry, know that I think especially of you and how hard this must be for you. I’m crying with you. I miss her dearly.
