Graveside Memorial Service 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 31, 2021 Margo Cemetery Margo, SK Please Join the Livestream on Narfason's Funeral Chapel & Crematorium's Facebook Page (Please Click HERE) With great sadness Janice Tomyn our sweet loving mother, wife, sister, aunt, and “Annie” departed this world January 16, 2021, who lost her battle with cancer with her family by her side. Janice Tomyn (nee Kalnicki) was born July 23, 1960 in Grenfell, SK. She attended school in Invermay, SK. After school she began her long career at the Invermay Health Centre. She retired only to continue her love of life on the farm with her family and friends. On October 10, 1981, she married her best friend, her love, Morris Tomyn. They built their wonderful life on his parents homestead. They have two beautiful daughters, Tara and Kendra. She enjoyed her farm life of gardening, grain, cattle, combining and was well known for her awesome cooking and good humor. Janice had a heart of gold and made everyone feel safe. She was very proud of her daughters. She took her youngest brother, Jim, under her wing as her own. She loved them all the same. She looked forward to large family gatherings and enjoyed cooking for them all. Her house was a local hotspot for coffee and many gatherings with friends and neighbors. Her door was always open. Janice’s pride and joy was her two granddaughters, Hunter an Harper. Hunter was her “mini me”. She had great love for these girls. She was their “Annie” She was predeceased by her parents Alexander and Isabel Kalnicki; her mother and father-in-law Lena and Bill Tomyn. She is survived by her loving husband Morris; daughter Tara (Travis) Leitch; Kendra (Mike) Flowers; granddaughters Hunter and Harper Flowers; her siblings Al (Maryanne) Kalnicki, Kathy (Marvin) Tarnowetski, Bev (Morris) Juve, Laura Sheldon, Johann Hydamaka, Roger Kalnicki, Carol (Robin) Jennings, James (Theresa) Kalnicki; her sister-in-law Evelyn (Albert) Johnson; brother-in-law Ernie (Loretta) Tomyn; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
