Traditional Wake: Tuesday, February 16, 2016 4:00 p.m. Daystar Community Complex Daystar, Saskatchewan Funeral Service: Wednesday, February 17, 2016 11:00 a.m. Daystar Community Complex Daystar, Saskatchewan Traditional Feast to follow Crowe-Buffalo- Cecil John, also known as his Cree name (Dancing With The Sun) was born February 22, 1958. He left suddenly to be with the Creator on February 13, 2016 at the age of 57 years. Cecil was predeceased by his parents, Gabriel and Francis Crowe-Buffalo. Left to mourn, he leaves companion Karla, children Angela (Brandon), Jessica (Yves), Tyler, adopted son Louie and wife Judy (Glen). He was very proud of his 3 grandchildren; David, Emily, Avamae and another grandchild to be born this summer. He’s lovingly missed by siblings Paul (Debbie), David (Jer) Cathy and Miranda as well as numerous nieces and nephews that he treasured as his own kids. Cecil; you came into all of our hearts on a storm and as quick as you came we must accept the Creators Will to lead you home. We may feel it was far too soon but a life well lived is the greatest legacy. We will all have grateful hearts and lasting memories. The family would like to thank the staff and EMTs at Regina General Hospital and the Daystar Band for all of their support. Wake will be held Tuesday February 16, 2016 at 4pm at Daystar First Nation Band Hall. Funeral to be held Wednesday Feb 17, 2016 at 11am at Daystar First Nation Band Hall with Elders and Rev. Vicki Young officiating.
