Carl was born in 1941 to Mike and Lillian Zubaty. He was the oldest of three children. He attended Yemen school until he travelled to Alberta and BC for work. In 1970, he purchased his farm in Insinger District where he continued to farm until his passing. In 1998, he married his long time friend and neighbor Mary Wolos and he got an instant large family and his life was never quiet again. Carl's greatest passion was his farming and his cattle with his side kick dog named RIDER. His favourite pass time was fishing and Carl was a very good one but never could clean them...that was Mary's job! Carl enjoyed playing cards, loved to laugh and have a good time with family and friends; always had a coffee, meal, snack or beverage for anyone who stopped in. He enjoyed watching TV and visiting with all his family, friends and neighbors. Carl was a great guy who's smile and infectious personality will be lovingly remembered by Mary, his wife of 20 years, Mary's children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, a very close cousin Caroline Grona of Invermay, his brothers, cousins and numerous other family, friends and neighbors. Carl was predeceased by his parents Mike and Lillian Zubaty. Carl leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Mary and his extended family: Steven (Karen) Wolos and their children; Chris (Sharon) Wolos; Brian (Collette) Wolos and their daughter; Linda (Dave) Pluhowy and their daughter; four great grandchildren; Mary's brother Matt (Valerie) Yariwon; Carl's two brothers Edward and Paul; and all his family, friends and neighbors.
