Norman George Lerminiaux was born on July 26, 1945 in Weyburn, Sask. to George and Loretta Lerminiaux. He was raised in Montmarte, Sask., and shared fond memories of life growing up in a small rural town. Throughout his life, Norm had varied careers including teaching, supervision of seismic exploration in the oil patch, surveying, and school bus driving. Norm met Evelyn Rigby in 1993 and they were married on April 7, 1995. Family and friends have always been a treasure to Norm, and he was loved by all who knew him. Normans George Lerminiaux passed away peacefully surrounded by family members on September 27, 2013 at 7:47 p.m. at Melfort Union Hospital. He is survived by his soulmate angel Reverend Evelyn Rigby and many loving friends and family. A Roman Catholic funeral mass and interment will take place at the parish cemetery in Montmartre, Sask., where Norm will be laid to rest with his father, mother and sister.
