Stove Creek is where she grew up and attended school. Annie married Ernie on April 27, 1954 in Preeceville. They began their life together on the farm south of Lintlaw. For the next 25 years they farmed and raised 7 children. They always made time for visiting and playing cards with friends, neighbors, and family. Besides all the regular day - to - day farm chores or gardening, she would take time to go outside and play ball with any of the kids who asked. Then in April of 1979 they sold the farm and moved to Foam Lake. Mom had the good fortune of not having to work outside of the home. She was kept busy tending to her garden that was still too large and to the many flowers she had planted around the house. She was also a lioness member in the community for several years. One of her favorite past times with Ernie was travelling to different lakes where they would go fish together. She would also spend countless hours putting together jigsaw puzzles or doing search a word puzzles. In February of 2013, due to a decline in her health she moved to the Yorkton Care Home. Annie was predeceased by her husband Ernie (2010) and her father William Darmochid (1975) and her mother Nettie Darmochid (1991). Annie brought joy to everyone who knew her and she will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
