Prayer service for the late Charlene Marie Bucko was held on Thursday, Feb.7 at 7:00 P.M. Funeral mass was held on Friday, Feb.8 at 11:00 A.M. Both services were at the Wynyard Roman Catholic Church. Charlene was born in Wynyard, Saskatchewan. She was the second of five children for Paul Bucko and Mary Ann Kushniruk. She was raised on the family farm located south of Mozart. She was basically bald until she was three and was a very quiet and content child. Her extreme patience allowed her to tame all of the small barnyard animals. She attended School in Wynyard and graduated in 1990. While in school she enjoyed horses, volleyball, choir, band, 4-H, cadets and drama. Charlene was very artistic and attended the U of S in the field of education majoring in Art. She convocated from the U of S in 1994 with Distinction. In 1994 She married Darren Erbach and moved to Chase, BC. In 1995 she gave birth to her first son Eric. In 1997 she moved to North Battleford, Saskatchewan to be closer to her family. In 1998 Charlene had her second son Bryan. Her boys were her life and her favorite activity was cuddling them. She loved sewing them clothes, decorating their rooms, making them cakes and all those things that all moms wish that they were talented enough to do. She crocheted, cross stitched, embossed or painted at least one item for all of her family members. Once both boys were in school Charlene started teaching again and became active in the community drama productions. She enjoyed skiing, art, karaoke, scuba diving, jewellery making and loved to travel. After Charlene's separation, she was lucky enough to find her soulmate, Darren Bieber, and moved to Weyburn to be with him and his children in 2011. Charlene gave birth to her third son Tristan in 2011. She was so excited to be a new mother again and content that her family and her life were complete. Charlene's own words to describe herself are, "I am a Mother, a Teacher, an Actress, an Artist, and a Friend. I love anything creative and I love to spend time with people I care about." Charlene will be forever missed and loved by her soulmate Darren Bieber and their baby boy Tristan, her two sons Eric and Bryan Erbach, step children Mckenna, Jayda, Moraea, Kaelum and Megan Bieber. Her Parents: Paul Bucko and Mary Ann Kushniruk (Lewis Reeve), Siblings: Tracy Bucko (Barry Baitinger), Sandy Thordarson (Tom), Dawn Newberry (Jason), Paul Bucko (Sheryllu), Nieces and Nephews, Catherine and Danica Bucko, Elizabeth Baitinger, Alex and Stephanie Thordarson, Shane, Julie, Victoria and Noah Newberry, Sadie and Athena Bucko, Godmother Sylvia Bzdel, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Charlene was predeceased by her grandparents Paul Bucko (1955), Mary Maximovich (2007), Mally Kushniruk (2008), Stevie Kushniruk (2011), nephew Jack Newberry (2012), and Godfather Wally Woynarski (1982). Memorial Trust Fund for Charlene's Baby Tristan Bieber will be set up to be recieved at any Royal Bank Branch. Online condolences may be left for the family via website.
