Obituary
A Funeral Service will be held at a later date Robert Carl Olaf Linder passed away at the Regina Pasqua Hospital on May 23, 2017 at the age of 82. Bob was born on the family farm, in the Rushville District, on December 22, 1934. He started school at Rushville School and graduated from Wynyard High School. He played football and hockey while in high school, and was supportive of the Wynyard Monarchs. He also enjoyed curling, especially the “armchair” type. And like the generation before him, cards were part of an evening or afternoon break. Bob loved to visit and never missed an opportunity to have a good chat with someone. Bob’s passion was farming, and though he worked at a variety of different jobs over the years, he was able to retire from his passion – being out in the field, with his thermos full of coffee and a packed lunch. Bob was predeceased by his son, Robbie Linder, parents Carl & Annie Linder, and father-in-law and mother-in-law Dymetro & Maria Marcyniuk, and sister Janet. Bob is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lesia (Elsie), their daughter Patricia (Cam) Shaw, son Terry (Lori) Linder, and daughter Paula (Robert) Tolver. Grandchildren and great-grandchildren Trevor (Kelli) Bzdel, son Carter; Sarah (Dustin) Bzdel, children Riley and Aria; Alundra, Logan, Jake and Lesia Linder; Joshua (Gabby) Tolver, children Mercedes and Sophia, and sister Ellen. It was Bob’s wish that there not be a formal service. A private family memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Pasqua Hospital Auxillary. Thank You The family would like to thank the following: Raymore First Responders, RQHR Ambulance Service/Lestock, Touchwood Hills Homecare, the staff and physicians of the Accountable Care Unit and Medical Surveillance Unit at the Pasqua Hospital; Drs. Lim and R. McKay; and to all family and friends for the calls and well-wishes while Bob was in the hospital.
