While on the farm they raised cattle, pigs, chickens, turkeys and many other exotic birds. Doris milked cows for many years and shipped cream to supplement the family income. Doris always grew a bountiful garden and was constantly sharing her bounty with everyone. On the farm and in town beautiful flowers adorned her garden always. Doris passed her spare time cross-stitching, crocheting, knitting, writing Easter Eggs and constantly upkeeping a spotless house and yard. Also you could find her out mushroom picking as the seasons came and went. She was an extremely dedicated wife, mother, daughter, sister, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She was known as BABA?ZEE to everyone from the time her grandchildren were able to talk. Doris and Leon were blessed with four children, Myrtle of Edmonton; Ed (Phyllis) of Sheho and their children Treasa (Jay Law), Amanda, Emma and Carson of Saskatoon, Tabetha (Dale Ryszak) of Theodore, Dekia and Jagger, Tara (Derrick Klebeck) of Saskatoon, Ara and Eastyn and Tyson (Carrisa) of Saskatoon; Orest (Judy) of Sheho and their children Darcy of Theodore, Darscilla (Darren Soannes), Rayne and Ryme of Springside and Darren (Wendy) of Theodore; Wayne (Donna) of Theodore and their children Cory (Jocelyne), Kadi, Marie and Samuel of Davidson, Crystal and her children Devin and Dawson of Yorkton and Candace and her son Dalton of Yorkton. Easter was spent in the Tradition of the Blessed Food and again everyone joined her at the house. Her meals were the Best , even to the end the great grandchildren said that nobody could cook like Baba Zee. Doris Ukrainian dills and headcheese were the best ever.
